Message to Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority: If the concessions stop, your existence stops

To Mahmoud Abbas,

And to the leadership of the Palestinian Authority,

For decades, the Palestinian Authority (PA) has been presented as a political achievement born of long struggles and immense sacrifices. Yet, the current reality compels us to carefully and courageously re-examine the questions of existence, legitimacy, and purpose.

The PA—by its structure, position, and function—no longer embodies the Palestinian national project. It has been transformed into a functional instrument for crisis management rather than liberation, serving Zionist agendas. Today, it is being used once again as a channel to pass concessions under the slogan “preserving what remains,” a slogan turned into a justification for every act of weakness sadly, it has even become the Syrian slogan too.

If the reason for your existence is concessions, then the cessation of concessions means the end of your existence!

This is a dangerous equation, yet realistic given the trajectory from Oslo until today. Concessions have become a condition for maintaining your international relations, symbolic political presence, and financial support. The more you refuse to concede, the more your means of control are withdrawn and your very existence threatened.

Even more alarming is the so-called “Seven Emirates” project, by which the occupation seeks to segment the West Bank into tribal entities, beginning with what they call the “Khalil Emirate.” This is clearly a doomed project—one the occupation itself knows is unlikely to succeed—but it is being used as the first pressure card in a calculated campaign to force you into making the gravest concession: surrendering the dream of an independent Palestinian state.

From the Abraham Accords to the current United Nations scene, there is a clear attempt to reshape the “final solution” according solely to Zionist and American visions—no Jerusalem, no refugees, no real sovereignty. And yet, tragically, you continue to bet on the very same parties who brazenly conspired against Palestinian rights.

The U.S. Bet Is Like the Ancient Promise to Al-Makmun

Just as Sharif Hussein believed in British promises and ended up with nothing betrayed by the so-called “Makmun Promise” you persist in putting your faith in the United States, addressing its administrations with pleas unworthy of a people who have sacrificed enough to liberate a continent, let alone a state.

Have we not learned from history?

Didn’t the latest Gaza war expose that the world does not respect the weak?

Didn’t the people, when they took to the streets rejecting aggression, demonstrate that Arab societies are alive, even if their regimes are submissive?

If there were any sense of dignity in Arab rulers, they would have at least boycotted the United Nations gathering especially after the U.S. denied Abbas and his delegation visas to attend. That should have been the minimal response to American “terror policy.” But regrettably, these rulers lack independent will they are mere instruments of the colonizer, handling our existential issues with a mindset of dependency rather than sovereignty. They do not dare to make even the simplest sovereign decisions.

Finally but not least the only option left for you is to return to the people

You no longer possess genuine popular legitimacy, and your so-called roadmap no longer leads to a state. What remains before you is one option: a return to the people to resistance, to struggle, particularly as an inalienable right guaranteed by the UN Charter, which you purport to uphold.

If you fail to choose this course, history will not forgive you.

It will write that you were the last generation to lead the Palestinian cause into perdition.

Salute and mercy to the martyrs who followed the path of freedom,

Freedom to the prisoners,

Victory and empowerment to Gaza the noblethe ember and heart of the nation
